Honestly? I'd love something just light and fluffy after the past couple of days. Otherwise I can't actually say I have a preference. This is actually me trying something new! But I feel like you and my friend Miki are similar, so I want to trust your choice.

What is your friend Miki like?

Ohhhh yeah. It was a rough night, and then I woke up here! And then it got WORSE. Very impressive, 0/10 stars though.

Miki is a little strict and a little harsh- but not in a bad way, I promise. When she cares, she's got that same tone you do- I bet if she could, she would have sent messages like yours too. So it makes me want to get to know you better!

Miki's the sort of person who pushes and challenges until it's time to rest. She's also very sweet and diligent and without her, we probably would never have gotten as far as we did. She reads a lot, and has taken to writing everything we do down. I'm very proud of her as her upperclassman.

If we're going to be stuck here for any longer than this, we may as well. It's good to be able to help each other where we can.

Your friend sounds like someone I'd appreciate being a mentor to. I do have to stay with Epel and Kalim and the others right now, but I'll be sure to let you know what I've found in the library when I head there.

I hope someday you can meet her in a place kinder than this.

And I understand! I didn't get to catch Kalim during the aftermath, but I did get to be with Epel. I know you being there means a lot to him.

Thank you, and I will. I promise. On both parts at the end there I mean. But you be sure to rest, too. Being the caretaker has it's own struggles. Just because you weren't there doesn't mean you have to tear yourself apart to fill in the gaps.
