she couldn't cope with reality, so she convinced herself it was all... normal, still. the infected were just dangerous delinquents. she could still go to classes, and as long as we set up rules in a frame of reference she'd accept, she'd stay in the safezone.
it was. but i don't know how i'd be if i was born after the fact, either.
she's been really reliable lately! she can hear things really well so she can let us know when something's approaching. and she's been more proactive and diligent. honestly a part of me wonders if she was starting to come back down to reality but acted like she wasn't for our sakes.
it was a lot? it felt boring and tedious a lot of the time. it was a bunch of us in one classroom and our teachers would switch out depending on what subject was being taught, save for home ec and phys ed- cooking and our physical activities
i was part of the track team which was running and vaulting competitively, which probably sounds silly but it was fun.
i didn't realize how much i'd miss everything until it was gone.
cafes were really fun. they'd play nice music and they'd have the nicest treats and drinks. including coffee! i like tea and coffee both, but coffee's really easy to mess up because it's bitter. i can't drink it black...
